Rita H. Lin is an intellectual property law specialist focusing on IP issues encountered by startups and emerging growth companies. She helps clients develop and implement forward-thinking IP strategies to complement and empower their growth. Ms. Lin is a registered patent attorney and regularly represents clients before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. She concentrates on patent strategy, startup agreements, and China-related IP issues in a wide range of industries. She conducts clearance and patentability studies and works on license agreements for a variety of clients. Examples of technology and industries she has worked on: pharmaceutical companies, medical devices, surgical instruments, biotechnology, fashion technology, toys, internet security, imaging system/equipment and oil & gas industry to name a few.
Ms. Lin prosecutes U.S. and PCT patent applications. She routinely works with foreign attorneys to protect clients’ overseas interests. In the last 5 years, she has worked extensive with technology and web startups.
